Prof. (Dr.) Chattar Singh

Prof. (Dr.) Chattar Singh is a well-known social scientist and a political analyst, specialized in regional studies. Having done his master’s degrees in History, Mass Communication and Laws, he was awarded a Ph.D. degree in Modern History from Kurukshetra University where he taught for 36 years before retiring as Professor and Chairman of the History Department in 2012. Now he has 41 years of experience in academic administration in Govt. and private sectors in the University system.

As a Chairman

Served Kurukshetra University from the position of Lecturer to Professor and Chairman of History Department, KUK (Haryana) for 36 years till superannuation.

As a Registrar

Served as Registrar of the Noida International University, Greater Noida (UP) for one academic session (August,2012 to June, 2013) along with charge of Director of Schools of Legal Studies and Liberal Arts, Fine Arts and Management.

As a Professor & Director

Served as Professor & Director of the Delhi Metropolitan Education, (affiliated to the GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi) from Aug.2013 to May. 2016. Five students of DME were listed among Top Ten of the university, including the Topper and the Third position holder.

As a Dean

Served as Dean of RNB Global University, Bikaner (Rajasthan) as Dean, School of Arts and Social Sciences, School of Law and School of Com & Mgt. from Sept. 2016 to May 2017. RNBGU was conferred the Best University Award by the Economic Times for 2016-17 and Best University in Rural Area by ASSOCHAM.
